How it works

The more bookings you run through Tattoodo, the less you pay in commission. Plus you get marketing perks that actually help you book more clients.

How your level gets calculated

• All bookings count: Your level is based on the total number of monthly bookings paid through Tattoodo — this includes both new clients from Tattoodo and your existing clients who book and pay through the platform.
• Offline bookings don’t count: If you mark an appointment as “Already paid”, it means your client paid in cash or outside Tattoodo. These bookings do not count toward your reward level since no platform fee is processed.
• Automatic progression: Your level and commission rate update automatically based on your booking volume.
• 60-day protection: You'll keep your level for at least 60 days, so one slow month won't immediately drop your status.

How commission works

• New clients only: You only pay commission on new clients who found and booked you through Tattoodo. A “new client” is someone who has never booked with you before and discovered you on Tattoodo.
• Existing clients are free: When your returning clients book through Tattoodo, there’s no commission at all — plus they’re automatically added to your client list so you can message them, send offers, or fill last-minute openings later.
• Lower rates with volume: The more total bookings you process through Tattoodo each month, the lower your commission rate becomes on new Tattoodo clients.

Platform fees

All bookings include a flat ($10 USD / £8 GBP) platform fee (paid by the client by default). This covers payment processing, payout handling, and continuous updates to help you book more clients and grow your business.

You can choose to split or cover the platform fee yourself if you prefer — full flexibility in your settings.

Example

If you have 12 total bookings in a month — and 4 of them are new clients discovered through Tattoodo — you’ll reach Level 3 and pay just 15% commission on those 4 new client bookings. The other 8 bookings from your returning clients are commission-free, as long as they’re paid through Tattoodo.

If you mark some bookings as “Already paid,” those won’t count toward your level or perks.
